I love being cozy.  I talk about it a lot.  But really, it’s important to me.  I like comfortable furniture, soft linens, big duvets…  Something to cuddle up in and stay inside, playing around on a beautiful day with nothing planned.  That’s exactly what this update is about, or, at least it’s about the moments just before the playing around starts…

These photos are really intimate.  Sometimes our portraits are done with the implicit knowledge that the camera is between us, and sometimes that’s not so much the case.  Here, we played into it, showing the lust between us as we struggled to get through shooting the portraits before collapsing into each other.  That is such an amazingly erotic feeling, so I’m glad we get to capture it, at least from his perspective.

I hope you enjoy this portrait shoot, because it’s extremely representative of who we are and what our life is like.  It’s comfortable, simple and pretty much always infused with a healthy dose of lust.  Isn’t that what life is all about?

Being sexy in a casual way is the most fun.  I love getting dressed up in lingerie, doing my hair, donning perfectly paired jewelry…  But at the end of the day, I take it all off and live in a largely very girl-next-door way.  Sometimes there’s more glamour in my life, of course, but the vast majority of the time is all about me in simple, classic and comfortable clothing…  And nothing is sexier than feeling completely at ease…  Especially if you’re not wearing panties, as I am in my latest portrait update.

 

 

I’m not generally tremendously forthcoming with these kinds of shots because I’m somewhat modest, but I really liked how these ones turned out, so I’m glad to get to share a little extra glimpse into a very personal side of myself…  Literally!  There is definitely a small thrill that goes along with all of this.

Violet and Rye Take on the Good Porn Problem

You all know that I love Violet and Rye of Uncommon Appetites.  I always #FF them on Twitter, I refer to them frequently here and we’re just generally very chummy.  That is because we have something in common.  Actually, we have many things in common, but one thing in particular…  We wish there was more good porn.  Don’t we all?

 

What does that mean?  Well, it’s not something that is represented very well in mainstream porn and, though amateur porn sometimes has the right spirit, it isn’t executed in the right way to really achieve the end result.  Violet and Rye managed to capture the essence of what makes “good porn” quite succinctly:

 

-We want people to tease us.
-To show us some of what we want.
-To show us something we didn’t KNOW we wanted.
-To hold back other bits.
-To enjoy the sex they’re having, genuinely.
-To not be too stagey, but put a little thought into it.
-To be brief, but not too brief.

 

Not to turn this into a humble brag, but that’s what we’re trying to do with The Art of Blowjob and Pornographic Love and, as evidenced from the video I included at the beginning of this post, it’s what they’re trying to do too.  As they validly point out, it takes money.  Not any more money than mainstream porn, in fact much less, but more than nothing.  We need more people to come out and be willing to share their skills, sexuality and understanding of the nuances of making something that’s genuinely erotic, then I think that good porn (or beautiful porn!) will find its footing in the industry and become profitable enough for it to be a large segment of adult entertainment.

I love my guitar, well, my guitars.  Making music has always been important to me because it’s always been a big part of my life.  I definitely feel a connection to various past moments of my life when I pick up a guitar and start to play.  It’s a very beautiful feeling, and I’d definitely consider it to be sensual in a way.  That’s why decided to do a shoot called Beautiful Nude Guitar Strumming.

 

 

I’ve played many instruments throughout the years, and I still play most of them today, but there’s something that keeps me coming back to the guitar.  It feels grounded, it feels very connected to my body and there’s something unmistakable about the way it feels to really get to strumming, or to perfect a lick that’s been escaping my grasp for weeks.
