Ukulele Love

Beautiful Camille Crimson playing her ukulele

I recently bought a new toy…  A beautiful ukulele.  I love playing around with instruments, and it felt like high time for me to buy something cute and portable, especially with our impending trip to Miami.  What better than a ukulele?  Although the fingering is different than the guitar, it’s not a completely new world either.  I already know how to strum, though ukulele strumming patterns are often different than the standard guitar experience…

I’m loving it.  It’s such a sweet and simple sound and it’s really lovely when I’m singing softly along with it.  Also, because it’s becoming a more and more popular instrument, there are tons of sites with chords and tabs…  I can play just about anything with a simple Google search!  So, any requests?  :P

I know it may sound kind of weird, but playing music really does make me feel sexy, almost irresistible.  There’s so much attraction to talent, to skill, to someone who can do something creative.  Wait, am I describing music or a blowjob here?  The two aren’t mutually exclusive.  Do you feel the same way?  I’ll have to make a video of myself playing some time and you can see for yourself.  All I know is how I feel, which is pretty lovely with my new toy!

A video showing you playing would be great Camille, and so sweet to listen to.

Do you find playing sweet music makes you feel super sexy, and gets you in the mood for sex and giving sensual blowjobs?

I’m sure it does, so keep strumming, love to hear you play “sweet home Alabama”

As in the song lyrics of `Mr. Tanner’ by Harry Chapin’:
Music was his life, It was not his livlihood
But it made him feel so happy, made him feel so good
And he sang from his heart, and he sang from his soul
He did not know how well he sang, it just made him whole.
    Thanks, Harry. We miss you.

Making music is one of the most sensual things we can do with our bodies. It uses many of our most sensitive body-parts (fingertips, lips, tongue), plus the alternately soothing/energizing power of breathing and lung-control (for singing and wind instruments). Not to mention, instrumental music mimics that post-verbal orgasmic state of extreme passion, when all we can say is “oooh” and “ahhh” and “mmmm” (and maybe “strum”?). I know more than one person has compared an aroused body to a tautly quivering guitar string, so why not a ukelele string too?

Then again, I play clarinet, so I probably shouldn’t compare music and sex on a blowjob blog…. ;-)

Well, then again, I play the flute as well, so you’re in good company with the phallic instruments, Cal!

As always, I love your evocative words.

    Camille,

I’ve never tried the ukulele, though I’ve messed around with quite a few instruments over the years. I know soothing music can be, and wish you the best with your new 4-stringed friend.

Recently, I’ve started listening to Jake Shimabukuro (I first heard of him while listening to Jimmy Buffet…they’re apparently good friends); he plays uke in a virtuoso style like no one else! If you’re not familiar with him, you might look him up on YouTube, or you could check out his website:
