I’ve been feeling very lucky lately. I mean, I always feel quite lucky, but especially lucky. I recently hit two rather big social media milestones. First, I just reach 10 000 followers on Twitter. Twitter is definitely my dominant mode of communication online, since it’s so adult-friendly and really allows me to reach out to individuals and carry on conversations beyond just spreading my message about beautiful porn.
Then, I also hit 6000 on Tumblr, which is really wonderful too. Tumblr is another very adult-friendly site and I’ve been able to share teasers and links to my site, along with lots of content by other people which I really love. It’s been a slow and steady grow for a long time, and it feels amazing to be able to share with so many people.
I’m really passionate about social media, so it feels great to know that people are responding to what I’m doing and want to engage in a meaningful support of beautiful porn. Sometimes it feels like we’re such a small, specific niche, but then to see all of these people who care about what we do… It is incredibly encouraging and speaks to the value of beauty, love, respect and sensuality in porn, and in sexuality in general.
I noticed that you have really pared down your list of social media venues. I’m assuming this is part of your new focus on quality over quantity. The mix you now have gives you a lot of flexibility in the ways you can promote beautiful porn and interact with fans. Hopefully these changes have reduced your daily “reply grind.” Now that you have a bit more time in your day, I can’t wait to see what cool, sexy and amazing things you’ll come up with because, well, you’re cool, sexy and amazing.
Well, I wouldn’t say that I’ve pared it down extensively, I just stopped going to places where I was talking to myself or it was mostly about people trying to have sex with me. I feel a lot more free to be myself now, which is a definite good thing.
You must be referring to the “tubes” wherein lurk no end of vulgar men. It was painful to see you politely and patiently reply to one crass comment after another. Although I was impressed by your niceness under fire, I always thought those sites were a waste of your time. I’m glad your spending more time online with the nice people who appreciate you for reasons beyond primal lust. I glad you are feeling more freedom to be yourself because the true “you” is pretty darn amazing!
Oh, I still respond to the tubes… I meant more like Fetlife…
