(Deep breath) So, it’s come to this…
No no, it’s not really dramatic at all. Relax. ;)
Basically, I’ve realized that I need to be a little more selective in the way I reply to comments on social media, tubes and the like. I have really always prided myself on the ability to respond to everyone, but it’s starting to become a little too much for me, and that’s making the quality of what I do say suffer a lot. I don’t want my Twitter feed to be an endless string of ”Thanks!” and “:D” because I don’t feel like that’s giving my best to you all.
I’d rather be thoughtful and methodical with what I say, showing actual personality beyond just being smiley and grateful. Trust me, I’m still those things too, but I’m hoping that I can find a way to say what I need to say without drowning myself out with other more efficiency-based messages.
I hope I’m being clear! I just want to be the best Camille I can be and to spend more time engaging in meaningful conversation with you. I’ll still be everywhere doing all the same things, I just will be trying to abandon my idea that I always need the last word, no matter how unnecessary it might be.

Rest assured, Camille, we’ll understand that if we don’t hear a reply from you, it’s because A) you’re busy being incredibly successful, 2) you have your hands full [or your mouth full!], or 3) you’re out enjoying some well-earned free time on your motorcycle. Either way, we’re proud of you and know that you’re still smiling and thinking of us, just as we’re smiling every time we think of you.
Thanks so much, Cal. It sounds weird, but it was actually quite difficult to make this post. I don’t want anyone to think that I think I’m a big-shot, but this is the kind of self-preservation that will keep me being myself and keep me from burning out. It feels really good to have your support on this.

Although we as fans and friends love the constant contact with you, it would be insane to think that you can reply to everyone all the time. those that know you should not feel you are distancing yourself, but more that you are going to use your time more efficiently as your fan base grows and other requirements of both your personal and professional life pull you in many different directions. New fans might not understand completely, but it would not be a stretch as other entertainers do not answer all of their correspondence either. Practically, you would have to sacrifice a good bit of your marbles just to try to keep up, and that is not fair to you or to everyone trying to contact you. Best of luck, we will still be here for you, your faithful followers!!!
Yay! It’s awesome to see you here. I’m glad you get the whole “Camille doesn’t want to lose her marbles” thing. I will still be commenting like a fiend, it just won’t be a constant stream of the same few words over and over again.
Dear Cammile, it’s very clear that you can’t comment on every reaction that you receive on every social media that you use.
Sure it is nice to receive an reaction from you, but, as in my case, i’m not responding to a blog post for that reason!
If i was in your position i would only respond if a reaction was an interesting comment on a specific subject. Other wise a simple summary wil do nicely.

Camille, I’m still amazed at how often you reply here. Not to mention how thoughtful you are, proving how real you are. I’m not a fan of social media so I won’t miss you there. This is the closest thing to social media that I care to be a part of. In fact, I don’t get here a often as I would like. But when I do, I know that I will not be disappointed.
I’ll still be all over social media, just less frantically trying to answer everyone, whether or not I have anything to say. I’m so glad that you find your trips here worthwhile, though. It really makes me smile.

Camille, you are absolutely doing the right thing. Time is precious. Your business and your fame is growing but the hours in a day remained fixed. As you wisely realized, something had to give. I cringe to think how many times a week you felt obliged to type some variation of “Sorry, I only do that with my boyfriend” on one site after another.
You are, without doubt, the nicest woman in porn but being nice to everyone, every time was a sure path to burn-out (which tends to make people less nice). Invest the time you will save into cultivating your multi-faceted awesomeness and you fans will be both happy and ever more plentiful.
That being said, if you do not reply to each and every one of my inane posts I sob like a child for days.
I’m so glad we’re on the same page. Honestly, I still want to be incredibly communicative, just not trotting the same sentences out over and over again, as you say. And you’re absolutely right… I want to stay nice!
