I’m doing a little crowd-sourcing today, and I really wanted to hear what you think of the way we use lighting in our photo-sets and videos. I know that there have been a lot of different looks that we’ve played around over the years, and I’d love to hear which ones are your favourites, if there are ones that don’t grab you as much… And really, I’d just love to know what it is about a photo or video that grabs you.
Specifically, I’m talking about the bright, light look that we’ve been playing around with lately vs. something more dark and sultry and mysterious, or maybe even something a bit more in the middle, kind of like a girl next door. I’m going to keep cycling through all these options, but I’d love to hear the ones that really stand out for you. I want to be able to figure out how to make more of what you love and then will use it to make more photos and videos in that way.
So, I’d really appreciate any feedback you could give me! You never lead me astray and I will try to do the same! ;)
Lighting is important but it is also subjective. You have it down to a science. Can create that low light, ultra sultry mood when you are up close and dreamy.
But can be just as sexy when bright light and fun loving…..
Its when you try to create a different mood with the lights when you are being something different.
Can’t point to any specific. But enjoy them thus far!

I think part of what made that ‘White Facial’ video so great was the camera angle and the brightness/overexposure, but it was maybe a tad too overexposed. Also, there was alot of visual noise, it wasn’t too distracting but I thought it was worth mentioning.
As for camera angles, please, PLEASE do a POV/virtual style video one day. On second thought, please don’t, because if yous did I would faint!
I actually do have a POV video, if you check through my archives, but doing another would definitely be a good thing!

The bright light draws attention to the other colors like your red hair and eye’s, lips, etc. At times in all the bright light vids it seems like there are parts when the light is too bright, but if I had to pick my favorite of them it would probably be the last one because of the closeness from the angle and how the other colors were brought out. I think it would be cool to do a half and half with light. Part dark and part bright at the same time similar to the quite afternoon video, but showing more up close at times of Mike’s cock and your lips. Might be nice to also show you from behind since you seem to be doing a lot lately on your knees with your cute ass up. Motivation for those who want your ass;)

As a photographer who is always playing around with different lighting schemes I was drawn to your images and videos because of all the different ways you shoot your stuff. I think you guys are doing a great job as is. Grated if you wanted to stick with a certain look I can see how that might make life easier for you but I personally think the magic of what you do is how much effort you put into each set and video. Well that and the blow jobs

I don’t think I have a favorite lighting style… as the others have already said, each film and photo is unique and the different lighting aspects complement the different moods. I have certainly enjoyed the recent ethereal overexposed scenes for all the reasons people have discussed, but I wouldn’t want every video for the rest of eternity to look like that, just like I wouldn’t want everything to be dark and moody, or natural and unenhanced. Choosing your different lighting styles should be like deciding whether to paint a picture in oils or watercolor, or deciding whether to perform a piece of music on piano or guitar.
My all-time favorite video remains “Morning Wood”, and looking back at it now, part of what I love is the hi-def, slightly dreamy, but still completely natural lighting. It just makes the colors pop so sharply– the orange coffee cup, your purple polka-dotted robe, all the different colors of skin (yours, Mike’s)… It’s the “real world,” only more so– which is what you’ve always done best!!

I always come back to Morning Wood as a golden standard in my head, actually, so I love that it’s yours as well. I think that speaks volumes.
