Getting the Last Word
21 Feb
I figured I’d lead with a picture of my behind… That always goes over well. I suppose you can file this post under Camille’s quirks, which I don’t often share with you guys. I’m not trying to keep a veneer of perfection up… far from it! I just don’t have that many of them, but I realized this one about myself the other day, and I think it’ll give you guys a knowing chuckle…
I always need to have the last word, but I don’t mean that in an argumentative or egotistical way. No, what I mean is that I feel socially obligated to have the last message in any given thread. I’m sure you’re flashing on some moments where we’ve had an exchange ending a little awkwardly on my part… That is why! I know, I’m silly, but I would feel so impolite if someone feels that I didn’t answer them that I go overboard. I like to think of it as cute.
It also serves a practical purpose, because it’s easy to see which comments I have and haven’t replied to. Especially on certain social media platforms (AHEM Google+!) it is hard to get your responses sequentially for some reason. Being able to quickly scroll through past messages, looking for messages that don’t end with my smiling face… It’s a much better way to ensure that I don’t overlook anything.
People are very good with me, and no one has ever made fun of my sequential smiley faces, so I appreciate it. I may be a bit overboard on the politeness, but for now I would still rather be that way than seem like I’m ignoring anyone! Now you know (or officially recognize) a weird little part of my personality… Did you ever notice it before?

For some reason your picture made me think of a term I learned in a training class…. begin with the end in mind.

Haha! I think that’s how some orgasms might occur.

I’ve honestly never noticed you doing this ‘getting-the-last-word’ thing you speak of, but I have noticed that you’re already showing off more of your unbelievably nice butt! Just amazing…my dreams are coming true!
Also thought I’d mention that it’s nice to see your face and body along with your perfect butt in that picture, unlike these weird closeups of some antonymous butt I’ve seen on my journeys through the interwebs.

I’m glad that I could strike a balance betweeen butt and the rest of me. I don’t want to be all butt all the time.

I rairly say OMG…..but OMG….your picture is…..incredible! Your ass seriously is admirable along with your beauty.
I don’t mind if you have the last word. And sometimes I feel rude if I don’t reply to your reply. I think it is so nice of you that you reply to everyone. Some blogs I’ve read at times, the blogger never makes replies, only posts. I don’t follow those blogs because I think that is somewhat rude not to reply to those who take time to comment. That’s why you amaze me. You’re a star in some ways and yet you still take time out to respond to everyone. I appreciate you’re kindness and words which is patt of why I follow your blog.
And you’re very welcome for any compliments or comments I leave. They are very much deserved and don’t always come close to how wonderful you are. And I like your smiles:)

I always try to be polite, which can make me come across as a little nutty. We’ll agree that when we run out of things to say, we won’t feel forced to keep going to be polite. It’s the internet equivalent of “After you. No, after you. I insist, after you. No, I insist…”
I agree about other blogs with no interaction. If people are nice enough to post, the least I can do is say thanks and hopefully try to get a good conversation going.

I definitely am politely answering to my fans, but when someone says something that doesn’t *really* need an answer, I’ll still add a last wink or smile or statement to not seem impolite. I’m going a touch overboard.

I don’t think you’re a *bum* for wanting the *bottom* line, Camille! Having the *l[ass]t* word is your privilege as the *fanny-tastic* proprietor of this blog! No ifs, ands, or *butts* about it!
