Steve Jobs, as you may already know, is dead. He’s dead. He’s dead. I don’t really want to believe it and want to wake up tomorrow to see everywhere on the internet that it was just a big hoax.
RIP Steve…

Camille, as soon as I heard this I thought of you. He made a huge impact on everyone’s life just by what he did. I raise a Guiness and say “to Steve.”
It is a sad happening, but maybe I’m one of the few who wasn’t surprised. Jobs was fighting pancreatic cancer which is one of the worst forms and nearly impossible to rid the body of. Though they said he was clean, I think most of that was obviously for appearance and shareholder’s stake in the company.
It’s still very sad that 1/2 Steve geniuses behind Apple has passed on, but death should not be a mourning but a celebration of the one’s life and contributions. And when it comes to Steve Jobs, those contributions are enormous, some of the largest anyone has seen in this world. Cheers to him and his influence on the world.
It’s not a shock because of the cancer, but it’s never something we can be prepared for. It’s so sad, but I’m trying to focus on his wise words and go forward feeling inspired by a life well-lived.

That’s what I did too. To Steve, a truly amazing man.
something tells me he is just retiring to his own private island some where in the Caribbean, no more internets and iApple business stresses
There’s a small spot in my heart that hopes that too.
I know. I can’t believe it.
I’m believing it a bit more today… Reality is setting in. It’s so sad.
RIP également.
Dès que j’ai su, je suis venu ici car je n’ai pas oublié que vous étiez très fan de lui. Toutes mes condoléances.
Gilles
Merci pour tes condoléances, Gilles.
It is so unfortunate that such a great pioneer has been taken from us at such a young age.
It’s so unfair. Fuck cancer.
I’m not an apple fan at all, but as a technology nerd I still had massive respect for this guy and all the things he did.
RIP.
I think that’s exactly it, Dan. Even if you aren’t an Apple fan, it’s hard to feel anything but awe for his innovative spirit.
