Foot Fetish

Camille Crimson redhead with a foot fetish

So, today I continue with another installation of my “answering fan questions” blog…  Creative name, I know.  This one is all about foot fetishism:

As a man with a healthy interest in sex, I am aware of a fair number of “unconventional” sexual practices, fetishes and assorted kink. Yet one particular predilection completely mystifies me: The Foot Fetish.

Try as I might, I can not comprehend why certain men find the feet of women sexually arousing. On my personal list of appealing feminine features, the foot ranks somewhere just above the armpit (no hate mail from you armpit fetishists please).

Camille, as the star and producer of the foot fetish site: “i Use My Feet,” I humbly request that you enlighten us regarding this most perplexing of topics. I just plain don’t “get” the foot fetish. Please help me understand Camille.

Definitely a very interesting question!  Another blog commenter actually pointed out that there are some links between the feet and genitals in the brain, which definitely explains something!  I had always wondered why foot fetishism is such a big deal when hand fetishism really isn’t, but the scientific element behind it definitely puts into a much more logical context.

For me, I think it’s sometimes a little hard to point down exactly what it is about foot fetishism it is that people like, but that’s kind of the fun of it.  Some people love little feet, some people love big feet.  Some people like skinny feet, whereas some like them fat and broad!  Some people like short little toes or very long “finger toes” on feet.  Some people love soft and perfectly smooth feet, others want to see some wear and tear and rough skin.  There are a lot of debates about whether toenails should be long or short, painted or natural.  Some people even like to see hairy toes!  There is foot porn for pretty much any tastes.

For some people, it comes from a place of worship.  We have long associated groveling at feet as a sign of respect, so why can’t extend to worshipping the feet themselves?   A lot of people weave this into Goddess or slave play, but for others, it’s just about giving a really great and doting foot massage.  For those of us who receive this kind of pampering, I can’t say it’s a bad thing as long as you like the person doing it.

Others are really into the sensual aspect, whether that’s licking, sucking or smelling.  As with any aspect of sexuality, some like it clean and some like it dirty.  There are definitely a lot of people out there who enjoy a foot after a long, sweaty workout in sneakers, but there are lots more who like only a faintly perfumed and freshly washed foot. Regardless of the smell factor, touching, caressing, kissing, licking, sucking…  It’s all very erotic when done right.  Even a little tickling can be fun, as long as it’s done with a respect for barriers.  It’s all about playing around with the senses and going beyond just using our genitals.

Just as a lot of people love lingerie, a lot of people love shoes and stockings.  Some love cotton panties, others love socks and sneakers.  Some love a fancy corset, others love silk stockings and high heels.  For me, wearing beautiful stockings, cute little socks, sporty sneakers or sophisticated sandals…  Well, it just makes me feel like a different person, and it really awakens the part of me that focuses on my feet.  Slowly rolling on (or off) nylons can be very sexy in the right context.

Some are into trampling, squishing things between their toes…  That’s not as much my thing.  I’ve tried it, but it doesn’t do much for me.  If I want to get my feet all covered in something, it’ll be lotion.  Or cum.  I definitely enjoy switching things up and having my feet be the point of the cumshot from time to time.  That’s especially easy when I give a footjob.  It’s a bit of work, but using an unusual part of your body (especially if you have soft arches) can be a really hot way to make someone feel good.  When my feet can get a cumshot, it feels like a job well done, even more than when I use my hands, mouth or breasts.  It’s a marathon, but it’s very rewarding!

For porn, part of why it’s interesting and part of why a lot of people do it is because it can be whatever you want it  to be.  It can be very tame or very explicit.  It can be just a tease, or it can be very very sexual.  It can be sweet and innocent, or it can be hardcore fetish.  There are so many power dynamics to explore, so many different ways to look at it.  But, no matter what, there is an audience.  Regardless of what it is that turns them on about feet, they are crazy about them, and I am happy to explore that side of myself when the mood strikes on iUseMyFeet.

I really have a negative comment to add to this foot fetish thing. There is a website out there where the owner photographer insists that every model wears platform high heals while naked. Women are standing on beds in high heals, on tables, on couches, etc. It makes no sense to me.

The platform heals are to me a definite symbol of a whore. I don’t object to whores, I simply want to see naked women who resemble those that I would like to date.

In addition when one talks about nude, I like nude, totally nude, just like she was on the day she was born.

I’m sure Camille is right about those cute little shoes she is talking about. When she feels good or cute or coquettish, it radiates right through to the viewer of her video. But Camille isn’t out there attempting to show off her naked body, as much as she is trying to exhibit “an art form” within the context of a blowjob, and I can very much see my woman in her cute shoes, kneeling in front of me, giving me a warm tender blowjob on a quite Saturday morning. Camille brings to me fond memories, and plans for the future.

Well, if they all like wearing platforms, then go for it. I like wearing platforms sometimes. I have a crazy pair of white platform boots that I’ve worn on occasion. It’s not for everyone, but they can make you feel very sexy and powerful. I’m mostly a girl-next-door types, but I have my wild moments, and sometimes my footwear is a part of that.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a ‘thing’ for womens feet, don’t ask me where it originated for I have no idea, to me its harmless. I just like feminine manicured pretty feet. I’ve met so many beautiful women who were immaculately manicured from hair, make up, clothes, hands even pubic hair, but completely forget about what they’re walking on. It can be a disappointment when they do neglect ‘down below’, but so many out there know that their feet are also a very important part of the overall picture. Don’t knock it, embrace it, is my message to all :)

The size of a woman’s feet actually tells the estrogen levels she produces which in turns is another way of telling how fertile she is.
I guess we are genetically pre-programed from nature.

I don’t have a foot fetish, but I definitely find a women’s feet sexy when taken in context of the whole woman. I’ve eyed women sitting at a bar with a shoe dangling in a flirty fashion–the line of the arch is very sexy to me. But I’m just not staring at her foot–it’s just that I don’t cut my view of her off at the knees.

I also happen to like shoes–which when properly displayed have a nicely kept woman’s foot in them. I’m surprised that anyone would associate a $2500 pair of Louboutin’s with the word “whore”. Sure, it used to be that you’d have to go into a strip club to see a platform shoe, but now you can walk into a Steve Madden shop and see beautiful platforms worn to be worn by your Mom, Sister, or Auntie–not just “whores”.

And a guy should never underestimate the power of giving a great foot rub. I’d be surprised if Mike doesn’t have some pretty good foot massage technique given that his Camille is so giving to him.

That’s a very cool picture. I don’t get the foot fetish either, but Camille did make some good points. I can see getting a nice massage or wearing pretty shoes to make ones feet look sexy, but as far as sucking on toes and licking the foot, that doesn’t really seem like a turn on. I remember a guy on the internet asking the girl he was dating to send him a picture of her feet. He had a foot fetish and didn’t ask to see her breasts or other private areas, but wanted a picture of her feet. That seemed weird, but that’s what he liked.

I also agree with Dave and don’t think that wearing platform shoes makes a woman a whore. Some woman like to feel taller and some like to feel as though they have a bit more power inside them by wearing shoes that give them some uplift. Sure the platform shoe is associated with strip clubs and porn stars, but so is sexy lingerie and nudity. Not every woman who wears lingerie or is nude is a whore. Camille is proof of that. Thanks for enlightening us on foot fetish Camille. Glad Will asked the question because it is a strange fetish and you gave some good insight.

I always love your comments, JJ! I totally agree with you on the second point. I just love feeling sexy, and my feet (and footwear) are an extension of that!

JJ, someday you will post a comment that I do not completely agree with but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

p.s. If a woman looks whorish in platform shoes, don’t blame the shoes. ;-)

Camille I hope you know I’m not the sort of fellow who would label women “whores” based on their attire. I was just suggesting that some women make dreadful fashion choices and that shoes are not always the issue. I guess my wink emoticon failed to indicate that I was not using “whorish” as a sexist insult.

In reference to my earlier Slut Walk comment:

“Slut” is now acceptable but “whorish” is not? Perhaps this illustrates my point about the pitfalls of trying to redefine a negative word.

:-) This indicates that the poster is happy and made these comments with good intentions.

Well, no one’s trying to reclaim whorish, and it was pretty clear that it wasn’t being used as a compliment in this case.

Camille, thank you so much for addressing my question. As always, you are a font of wisdom. I had not clue there were so many sub-categories of foot fetishist. A follow-up question if I may: Do fans of your feet find them appealing in and of themselves or because they are part of the beautiful you? Put another way: Does the beauty of the woman enhance the appeal of the foot?
